I think and write about business and technology. Sometimes I advise companies, run workshops, and speak at events. 

I am the author of 'The New Geography of Innovation' which charts the rise of new tech companies around the world. It is based on an essay which won the Financial Times/McKinsey Bracken Bower Prize. It is published by Simon & Schuster in the US and William Collins in the UK. I have also signed publishing deals in China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and Russia.

I have been a Lead for the Digital Transformation of Industries at the World Economic Forum in Geneva and an Expert on Higher Education, Entrepreneurship, and Industrial Policy at the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation in Vienna.

I went to graduate school at Yale where I was a Fulbright scholar, Fox International Fellow, and Teaching Fellow. I did my undergrad at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. I have been a visiting scholar at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi and a Fellow with the Acumen Fund. I have done exec ed courses at Wharton, Columbia, INSEAD, the London Business School, and CEIBS. 

I have been a speaker at The Economist Innovation Summit, Financial Times Innovation Dialogues, Open Innovations Forum Moscow, Digital Government Exchange Singapore, World Government Summit Dubai, the European Commission and other major events and institutions.
